The Introduction of “Dundalkianism’s”

So, many of us are familiar with the “Chuck Norris Facts” that have popped up online over the last couple of years.  These are small, 1-2 sentence facts that make Chuck Norris into this huge legend.  Look below for some examples:

  1. Chuck Norris does not sleep. He waits.
  2. Chuck Norris counted to infinity—twice.
  3. The chief export of Chuck Norris is Pain.
  4. Chuck Norris doesn’t read books. He stares them down until he gets the information he wants.
  5. When the Boogeyman goes to sleep every night, he checks his closet for Chuck Norris.
  6. Chuck Norris can lead a horse to water AND make it drink.
  7. When Chuck Norris does a pushup, he isn’t lifting himself up, he’s pushing the Earth down.
  8. Chuck Norris can slam a revolving door.
  9. Chuck Norris is his own line at the DMV.
  10. When Chuck Norris does division, there are no remainders.

Well, we here at the Dundalk Daily (I keep saying “we”, because I am looking for some students in the area to help me write some stuff), have decided that we can make our own jokes, not about how awesome Chuck Norris is, but about how awesome Dundalk is.

So, there will be at least one “Dundalkianism” every week.

Here is the first one:

The reason why the Baltimore Orioles don’t have “Baltimore” on their road jerseys is that they actually belong to Dundalk… and Dundalk doesnt want to brag”

"Dundalk" could have been across the front

  1. When asked the location of Dundalk I have always asked people if they’ve heard of Baltimore to give them a benchmark in a state. Upon an affirmative reply I then tell them Baltimore is a suburb of Dundalk(Maryland, that is).

  2. Brilliant!

Question, is the Baltimore Flag, the Coat of Arms of the Lord Baltimore Family?

  3. Now that is a trick question which can only be answered by saying, “Partially.” The flag, according to sources I’ve seen, is comprised of components from the Calvert and Crossland families.
